01 How to thread your machine
Most students make the same threading mistakes. As a result, many first-time sewers become frustrated because they believe their machine is not sewing correctly. However, most of the time, the problem is in their threading, and all they need to do is become more familiar with the correct threading of a sewing machine.

02 Sew a Straight Line

Even if you've never used a sewing machine, my techniques will have you sewing after about an hour of practice. And once you've mastered straight sewing with proper seam allowances, you're ready to make something fun.

03 Sew a Curved Line
The students exercise sewing curved lines by following the edges of small contours in stuffed animals. You can make anything if you can sew a straight and curved line while maintaining the correct seam allowance.
04 Join Seams Together
We practice joining seams and following the correct seam allowance in stuffed animals, pillows, fabric dolls, purses, backpacks, shorts, T-shirts, aprons, monster bags, Halloween bags, Christmas stockings, guitars, robots, and hats.
05 Attach Buttons and Trims
Attaching buttons with a sewing machine is simple. We assist students in using the appropriate attachments to add cute buttons to their projects.
